Electrons move in the opposite direction to conventional current

EMF - electromotive force = voltage of a source

Potential difference - energy transferred (work done) when a unit of positive charge moves

Electric current = flow of charge

Power = energy transferred over time or current x potential difference

Parallel Circuits

Potential difference - V - measured with voltmeter

EMF = PD across each resistor

All of the voltage is the same no matter the resistance

(voltage is the charge carried by each electron)
